Designed to connect
with standards-based IP-DSLAMs, the HG-V100 Layer 2/3 processing
capabilities are performance tuned to support a full complement
of services, including multiple, simultaneous channels of
high definition IP video, ultra-broadband data services
and voice over IP services. Support of multiple service
performance guarantees and per port rate limiting, along
with per VLAN bandwidth provisioning in 1 Mbps increments,
enable carriers to offer tiered services in order to maximize
revenue. These industry-leading QoS capabilities enable
each service to be managed separately, so that HDTV video
delivery remains flawless even while large data files are
being downloaded or intensive interactive video gaming is
underway.
The HG-V100 VoIP features consist of two RJ-11 ports that
accept regular analog telephone connections for voice and
fax over any IP network. The HG-V100 also accommodates IP
phones via its four RJ-45 ports. IP-video services connect
to the HG-V100 via a MoCA F Connector, an HPNA3.0 connector,
or via one or more RJ-45 ports.
The HG-V100 uses the latest approved ITU T G993.2 VDSL2
standard. In addition to its high performance profile, the
Amedia VDSL2 implementation assures maximum compatibility
with current and ongoing deployments of IP-DSLAMs.
The HG-V100 is designed to accommodate the diverse needs
of different customers through a rich set of ordering options.
Wireless features, port types, and indoor/outdoor configurations
are among the choices available.
