while at companies such as NCR, AT&T and Lucent Technologies.

Frank Galuppo
President, CEO, and Director

Frank assumed his current position in March 2004. He
began his nearly 40 year career in Telecommunications
as a Western Electric installer and rose to a number
of leadership positions in both the United States and
Europe. Prior to his arrival at Amedia, he was the Senior
VP of Business Development for AVC Global Services’
Government networking division. Mr. Galuppo had a long
and distinguished career at Lucent Technologies; his
last role there was as President of Lucent's Optical
Networking Group. In that position, he had worldwide
responsibility for the development and marketing of
Lucent's optical portfolio which had annual sales of
over $1 billion. Frank has had extensive international
exposure. From 1996 through 1999 he led Lucent’s
R&D center in Nuremberg, Germany. In earlier positions,
Frank traveled extensively throughout the world in support
of Lucent’s customers. |

J.D. Gardner
CFO & SVP of Business Operations

With a successful business career spanning over 30 years, Gardner brings to Amedia proven expertise in the areas of domestic and international operations, corporate finance, and business planning and strategy. Prior to joining Amedia, he held the CFO responsibilities at Cingular Interactive / BellSouth Wireless Data, BellSouth Mobile Data, and RAM/BSE Communications. He also held other senior executive positions at both BellSouth and AT&T, including his leadership role related to BellSouth's financing efforts totaling over $1B of debt and equity. At BellSouth Wireless Data, he led the Company through a period of explosive growth that saw subscribers double to over 500,000 in one year. His most recent positions were COO of a digital / internet photo service and CEO of a wireless point-of-sales start-up in New Jersey . |

John Colton
CTO

With 40 years of distinguished experience in the
industry, John brings outstanding innovation and engineering
expertise to Amedia. Until 1999, John served in senior
positions in Lucent’s Optical Networking Group
as well as in technical management and product management
positions while at Bell Laboratories and AT&T Network
Systems. In early 2000, John founded JRC Consulting,
a company providing consultation in the fields of optical
communications, voice and data switching, and FTTP,
a position that led to officer and board positions with
several startups. Before joining the Amedia team, Mr.
Colton was Vice President of Architecture, Systems Engineering,
and Product Management for Lambda Optical Systems. He
holds an SMEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and a BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania. |

David Militello
Sales

Dave's more than 35 years experience in the industry encompass marketing, sales, business development, and operations. He recruited and trained sales forces to sell complex optical, switching and software communications products as well as personally managing customer executive relationships. Dave's experience at Lucent Technologies and AT&T were directed at meeting the needs of top end customers in the Independent Telephone Company, Municipality, Cable TV, Competitive Local Exchange Carrier, and Enterprise Arenas. |

James O'Connor
Product Management

Jim's 16 year career encompasses a broad range of product management and technical solutions positions. He joined Amedia after serving as director of portfolio management at Ciena Communications. Prior to that, he was a product manager for Optical Systems and a senior member of the Asian Marketing team at Lucent Technologies. Mr. O'Connor had earlier served as both a software developer for Bell Northern Research, and as a member of the technical staff at Bell Laboratories in the areas of DACS systems, ATM Central Office switches, as well as Hybrid Fiber Coax systems. |

Raj Varadarajan
Business Operations

Raj Varadarajan has over 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications Industry, serving in a number of technical and leadership positions in Lucent Technologies, NCR and AT&T. Raj brings significant experience in the product development of computer systems, network management systems, consumer devices, and enterprise communications systems. Mr. Varadarajan headed various development functions for long-haul DWDM optical transport systems and digital cross-connect systems in Lucent. While at NCR, he led the development of Network Management System applications for data networking systems. Earlier in AT&T, he led product development for a series of consumer and business communication terminals – including the VideoPhone 2500 and Dimension PBX Systems. In addition to his product management role in Amedia, Mr. Varadarajan oversees all outsourcing and manufacturing operations, customer deployment and service, project management, and other key product planning and operational functions.

Stuart Waldman
International Business Development

Stuart brings over 20 years of international experience to the management team. Prior to joining Amedia, he was the founder and president of Fair Haven Consulting, a company that advised its international clientele on pricing , contract negotiations, human resources, and customer training. Before that, Mr. Waldman spent twenty years with Lucent Technologies, Bell Laboratories, and AT&T working in such areas as Mergers & Acquisitions, Product Management, and Technical Marketing in Europe, Asia, and Latin America .
