Amedia’s stockholders
are well represented by a strong Board of Directors reflecting
a wide range of relevant experiences. The Board includes leading
experts in optical networking and broadband communications,
international corporate governance, finance, and law. In addition
to Frank Galuppo, the President and CEO of Amedia Networks, sitting on the
Board of Directors are:
Gerald Butters
Gerald Butters is an acknowledged dignitary in the communications
industry. His career of more than 39 years includes
appointments as President of NTI (a Nortel Networks
US subsidiary,) Chairman of the Board of AGCS (a joint
venture of GTE and AT&T,) President of Lucent Technologies’
Global Public Networks, and President of Lucent’s
North American Marketing, Sales and Services. While
at Lucent, he formed the Optical Networking Group and
became its first President. Since retiring from Lucent
in 2000, Mr. Butters has remained active in the technology
sector serving as a board member and advisor to several
innovative companies. Mr. Butters is a Fellow of the
International Engineering Consortium. |
Richard Rosenblum
Richard Rosenblum is a Managing Partner of Harbor View Advisors,
LLC. Mr. Rosenblum also holds the position of Senior
Managing Partner at ACP Advisors in New York, where
he is responsible for advising and raising capital for
emerging growth companies. Previously, Mr. Rosenblum
held positions with vFinance Investments in New York,
and was a Managing Director at Robb Peck McCooey Financial
Services, Inc., also located in New York.

Bob Martin
Dr. Martin has enjoyed a luminary career in telecommunications.
His early positions at Bell Laboratories and later at
Bellcore focused on large systems development. He had
responsibilities for Unix development, network management
systems, intelligent network systems, packet switching,
and broadband access systems developments. He later
joined Lucent Technologies, where he held several key
leadership positions, culminating with his appointment
as the Chief Technology Officer of Bell Laboratories.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
from Brown University in 1964, and his Master of Science
and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology in 1965 and 1967, respectively. In 1985,
he attended the MIT Alfred P. Sloan School Senior Executive
Program. A Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers, Bob was a member and first chair
of its Software Industrial Advisory Board. He has served
on the National Research Council's Computer Science
and Telecommunications Board and the FCC's Technological
Advisory Board. He is on technical advisory boards for
venture capitalist’s and startups in telecommunications,
optical devices & other innovative networking products.

Juan Mendez
Mr. Mendez is a major shareholder and serves as the
Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since March of 1999
Mr. Mendez has been the CEO and President of Total Claims
Management Inc., a privately held company which he co-founded,
based in Miami, Florida. |
